याजक : इस घर को शांति।
सब : इसके सब निवासियों को भी।
He explains in his own words the meaning of this blessing. The members of this family are placing their complete trust in God, and will try their best to live in peace and concord, thereby giving witness to Christian charity.
He may read and explain an appropriate text of Scripture (e.g. Mt. 7,24-27 ; Lk. 19,1-10)
Then he sprinkles the main parts or rooms of the house and its inhabitants, saying:
याजक : हे प्रभु तू मुझ पर जूफा से पानी छिड़क दे। और मैं निर्मल हो जाऊँगा। तू मुझे धो डाल और मैं हिम से भी अधिक स्वच्छ हो जाऊँगा। हे परमेष्वर, तू परम दयालु है, मुझ पर दया कर। पिता और पुत्र और पवित्र आत्मा की महिमा हो।
सब : जैसे वह आदि में थी, अब है और अनंत काल तक सदा रहेगी। आमेन।
याजक : हे प्रभु तू मुझ पर जूफा से पानी छिड़क दे। और मैं निर्मल हो जाऊँगा। तू मुझे धो डाल और मैं हिम से भी अधिक स्वच्छ हो जाऊँगा।

The priest concludes with these prayers:
याजक : हे प्रभु हमारी प्रार्थना सुन ले।
सब : मेरी पुकार तेरे पास पहुँचे।
याजक : प्रभु आप लोगों के साथ हो।
सब : और आपके साथ भी।
याजक : हम प्रार्थना करें: हे पूज्य प्रभु सर्वशक्तिमान् पिता शाश्वत ईश्वर, हमारी यह प्रार्थना पूर्ण कर। कृपा करके स्वर्ग से अपने पवित्र दूत को भेज दे। वह इस घर के सब निवासियों की शरण हो, इनका पालन पोषण करे, इनको सँभाले, इनके साथ रहे और इनकी रक्षा करे। उन्हीं प्रभु ख्रीस्त के द्वारा।
सब : आमेन।
The blessing and installation of the crucifix may be added here.
He may lead a prayer of petition, inviting the members of the family to make their own intentions. At the end he gives the usual blessing.
